Barclay Consulting is founded by Claire Barclay. Claire's roots are in Big 4 consulting having been a Consulting Partner at PwC for 5 years. Claire works with large network of consultants across Aotearoa to create trusted and experienced teams to undertake larger pieces of work and to draw on a wider range of skill sets.
Claire is passionate about making a positive impact on people and communities. She is a seasoned executive and management consultant having formerly worked as a Consulting Partner at PwC; one of the 'Big 4' consulting firms. She was also a Senior Manager at Tenzing Consulting.
Claire brings a unique perspective because she has spent half of her career working directly in organisations, so understands first-hand the practical challenges leaders face, the importance of being pragmatic, and how important people are in the process. She also brings a 'systems' perspective and her super power is working in complex stakeholder environments, including all-of-government roles.
Claire has deep public sector expertise (central and local government) and has consulted with a range of business sectors, including financial services. Claire's expertise spans the value chain; from strategy through to delivery. She has expertise in a broad range of functions, including HR, Finance, Data and Digital functions, and Contact Centres. At PwC she latterly established the national Workforce Consulting practice.
